The Catering Event Manager 2001 program was inspired by the lack of good, flexible software available for the management of food cost and catering sales.  With that in mind, we set out to accomplish many things.  

-We needed a program that would help us to calculate the cost of providing a catered event.
-We needed a means to manage the high volume of catering requests.  
-We needed a means by which to show our clients their catering costs.
-We needed to display end products in the program. (Hopefully the next version).

Now you are becoming part of the process.  We need your support.  You are receiving 2 versions of Catering Event Manager 2001.  Catering Event Manager 2001 data includes data from Tampa General Hospital for catered events and meetings to be held in 2001.  Reviewing this version will help you learn how to use it better.

The other version has nothing but the preloaded item inventory, menus, holidays, work areas, etc.  No customer or event information what so every is included.  You will need to enter the customer and event information for your facility.

As you use the program, please write notes for us.  Send us your feedback after using for a month.  We would like to keep improving the program.  Also write notes on this ever-so-brief manual.  As new versions are developed, we will offer them to your via e-mail.
